Gurpreet worked as a police officer for 16 years in the State of Punjab while at the same time obtaining his law degree from Punjab University, India.  After passing all his exams required by the National Committee of Accreditation in Canada, he obtained his Certificate of Qualification. He completed his articles at this office and was called to the bar in December 2022.  Prior to attending law school, Gurpreet received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees.  Gurpreet has appeared on a number of court applications both in the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench.  Gurpreet has focussed his practice on Family Law and Civil Litigation.

He is a strong believer in hard work and giving back to the community.  He takes pride in his work and is committed to his clients and their needs.

Gurpreet is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi languages. His knowledge of Canadian and Indian culture adds diversity to the Edmonton Law Office.

In his free time, he enjoys biking, reading and travelling.
