Tamer grew up in Edmonton, Alberta where he excelled academically and athletically.
Tamer graduated law school at Bond University in Australia. During his time there he was an active member of the Canadian Law Students Association, and victor of moot advocacy competitions in constitutional and criminal law competitions.
Tamer joined the Edmonton Law Office with the intention of serving the community and accommodating accessibility to the community. Tamer’s legal practice is primarily focused on family and criminal law.
Tamer is no stranger to the courtroom and has extensive experience in dealing with Emergency Protection Orders, Restraining Orders, Common Law Relationship disputes, Separations, Divorces, Matrimonial and Family Property Disputes, Grandparent’s Rights/Access, Custody, Access, Parenting, Contact, Child Support, Spousal Support, Legal Separations, Separation Agreements, Maintenance, Maintenance Arrears or Maintenance Enforcement. In addition to his family law experience, Tamer has similar experience in dealing with Criminal Matters including drug-related offences, assaults and young offender cases, among other things.
Tamer is fluent in both English and Arabic.
