Vivian is a dual qualified lawyer born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria.
She attended Olabisi Onabanjo University Nigeria, graduating with a law degree in 2010. During this period, she was appointed on the editorial team of the Law Students Society .
Vivian was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2011.
She arrived in Canada in May 2019 with her family, obtained her Certificate of Qualification, completed her articles in Edmonton, and was admitted to the Canadian bar in 2023.
Vivian has a combined law practice spanning over a decade. She is skilled in Litigation, Family law and child welfare matters , business law, wills and estate planning, real estate transactions, and criminal defense.
She has appeared at the Court of Justice and Court of Kings Bench of Alberta, where she has fearlessly advocated for her clients and secured favourable outcomes. She is also flexible and discerning, knowing when mediation and dialogue may prove more effective at achieving her clients’ objectives.
Vivian is also a licensed financial advisor with the Alberta Insurance Council, a certified project manager, a certified shipper, and regularly takes business courses. This adds a rich perspective to her law practice.
Vivian is passionate about helping people. She once served as the President of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s) Ibadan Chapter. She is an active member with an international charity, volunteering weekly.
When Vivian is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family of six, reading, writing, and when the weather allows, playing soccer.
She is fluent in English, Igbo, Yoruba, and Pidgin.
